II. Logistics & The "Day-Of" Experience

  • “Will you be the lead shooter, or will you send an associate team?”

    • I will be the lead videographer on-site alongside any contracted associate videography team members.

  • “What do you and your team wear?”

    • Black slacks / black shirt

  • “Are you fully insured?”

    • Yes, I can provide a COI upon request.

  • “Will you perform a site walkthrough or tech rehearsal?”

    • A pre-event site walkthrough can be requested on a case-by-case basis. Depending on timing and distance to the location, a fee may be charged.

III. Technical Mastery & Audio

  • “How do you handle audio?”

    • Depending on the event, we can either provide our own microphones or work alongside your A/V team.

  • “Do you record to dual card slots?”

  • My camera records dual-slot to ensure redundancy while filming. Additionally, all of your footage is immediately backed up in multiple locations after your event.

  • “Do you provide 4K exports?”

    • Yes, we can provide the file resolution and file type needed for any event or use case.

IV. Post-Production & 2026 Standards

  • “Do you offer ‘Same-Day’ or ‘Next-Day' social media edits?”

    • Yes, many of our conference and tradeshow clients have us do overnight recap “highlight” videos.

  • Do you provide closed captioning or accessibility?”

    • Yes, we can provide burned-in (permanent) closed caption on video exports.

  • “What is your revision policy?”

    • All corporate video projects have 2 rounds of feedback and edits included.

  • “What is the exact turnaround time for the final master film?”

    • Corporate video projects have a 2-week turnaround for video edits (unless otherwise specified).

V. Data Security & Legal

  • “Who owns the final product?”

    • You own the final product, although Best Made Videos® generally retains the rights to display work for future business.

  • “What is your data backup and archiving workflow?”

    • I use a mult-step data preservation process, including cloud and tape backups, that you can read about here.

  • “How do you handle talent releases for attendees?”

    • We can provide the necessary forms or signage to handle talent releases for attendees at your events if needed.
